When did Excalibur start up?

A question for some of the members who have been around the longest....

When did Excalibur first start making crossbows? Who were the original owners and what were the first models?

In the early 80's. Owners were B&K Troubridge. First bow was the relayer then the wolverine. Here's an interesting post by R.J
