Hi everyone !

Post by Mustang4455 »

Hi everyone ,
Just wanted to introduce myself. I've been lurking around this forum for almost a year now trying to absorb as much information as I can from you guys. I'm finally about to pull the trigger on a new Excalibur . I'm torn between a matrix 380 and micro 335 . I like the idea on the smaller micro but I also like the power of the 380. So I'm hoping you guys can point me in the right direction.

Welcome stang, as Anthony said and I will suggest the same, take a look at the Micro 355 if you prefer the smaller Micro platform. I prefer the Micro myself.

Thanks for the replys guys. If money wasn't an issue I would of ordered a micro 355 already . The reason I'm picking the micro or 380 is because I found them on sale. I was pretty sure up until today that I was gonna go with the micro because the 380 was out of my price range but now these 2 are in the ballpark .
Also this will be my first hunting season of that makes a difference .

They didn't have the choices then they have now. So i have a Micro 335 n a Matrix 380. When i add in my heavy arrows they will become 290 fps area n 330 fps area. Gee i need some 425 fps models to slow down to the lower 300's wid 500 gr arrows :)

Thanks for the input guys, but the decision was made for me. I called the store and they sold out of the micro and only had 2 380's left. I pulled the trigger and ordered a 380 . Now the wait ..... cant wait to shoot it !! :D

Welcome. I'm new here myself. They didn't have the Micro when I bought my Matrix 380. It was night and day different from my Exomax. I'm very happy with my decision. I'd love to get a custom stock for it down the road. I really appreciate the anti dry fire now that I have it. You will too.
