TPM,

All this talk just jacks up the future prices.

So. If Vix wants to sell her bow at a fair price, will you let me know?

Reduced of course, due to her laying it on the ground in front of a moving truck tire.

Maybe we could work out a trade.....empty propane cylinders, rusty saws, 2 year old hay bales. Just let me know.
Don't look at the antlers!! And don't look him in the eye!!

2002 Exomag
Custom wood stock with a lot of notches in it

Loving every minute of it.

I think the EXO series bows just cost too much to produce. The stocks are heavier, the limbs are longer. This adds up to material costs. By redesigning molds, reducing material cost and streamlining production it saves manufacturing costs per unit. That's how they can offer an excellent crossbow and keep cost reasonable.
I love my Matrix but the old stock design on the EXO series scream quality. I'd love to replace the Matrix stock with a custom wood one.

Agreed, the production material costs do add up. The new Matrix/ Micro series utilizes a shorter mainframe, less composite stock material, less fiberglass and resin and less string material than the older Exo series. Plus less limb and stock material to camo or coat.

Agreed but its a shame they couldnt at least keep the "plastic" ibex or axiom how much could it cost to make them. In the end in terms or reliability and accuracy they blow away any entry level wheel bow barnett or anybody else has ever made by far. My friends killed a jillion deer with his ibex n just laughs at the "expensive" bows we waste our money on.
Vixen 2, metal ibex,Phoenix, sapphire, matrix 330 ,matrix 355 ,vortex and baby grand piano y25 relayer.

HEY HEY HEY... just one minute here! That bow isn't going anywhere anytime soon - even for last year's best hay! Not unless they come out with a similar model in "Real Tread" camo.

Excalibur has been americanalized.
Yes, I made that word up.
The worst thing a company can do is make a product that people wont want to upgrade from, and Excalibur did just that.
It is no longer about providing hunters with a product they can pass to their kids, it is about making people crave the newest, best, cooler, faster model.. It is proven right here.
I enjoy watching it, but not as much as the guys with their wallets out wanting your money. And your money.. You are tripping over yourselves to get the newest.. Bill Didn't have this in mind when he started, but the hook was set, yanked up and now here we go!
Entertaining? heck ya!
Society is the problem, not the manufacturer. Sad reality.
If you are not willing to learn, nobody can help you, if you are willing, nobody can stop you.

My exact words. No manufacturer of anything is going to stop making/selling what sells well. It just did not sell.
Jeff, you sold a red labeled, black Vixen? That's one of the desirable Excaliburs for collectors. You're going to have to buy a 355 Micro to make up for that loss!
