New old guy

Post by Freddyalmost »

Hey guys and gals, new to this forum but been reading what you guys have to say for a couple of years now.since buying a 380 a couple of years ago I have taken a handful of deer including a giant 9pt.this year.he went 30 yes and dropped.love the 380 and can't wait to try her out on a nice black bear.i am shooting stock diablos with boltcutters,Excalibur.string,etc.any arrow and broadhead suggestions would be helpful.its time to experiment.i did try the f.o.c. 170s ,didn't like them had two open prematurely.completely missed the target at 20 yds.happy with my set up ,just looking for some wintertime projects, thanks and happy to finally come aboard

Welcome to the forum!
It doesn't sound like you need to change a thing!
As far as any mechanical opening prematurely, add a dental band or two. They are those little white elastic bands for braces.

X 2 on what Boo said...a small dental band should help with the mechs. I shoot spitfires, not a bad word i can say about them. :D 8)
