Exocet 200 Dissipator Bar Issue

Post by DeepSouthHunter »

On my last deer hunt last week I was in my stand and noticed that one one of the rubber pads from the limb dissipator bars was missing. It made me kind of nervous wondering if it would be safe or not to take a shot if one presented itself. No deer were seen so no shot was taken. These came stock on my crossbow. Is this something that I should contact Excalibur about and they would send me a replacement or is this considered a wear item and something I need to replace out of pocket? I have pictures but cannot figure out how to post.

What Is the worst they can say.

" No ? " you need to buy a whole new kit for $69.00"

Contact Excalibur directly I'd say. All else would be speculation.

Good Luck

They sell replacement pads yes as they are a wear item.

Excalibur stated that they are indeed a wear item but under this circumstance they will send me a replacement. Can't argue with that! First, and hopefully only time I'll have to deal with their customer service but it's as great as everyone says.
