O/T Great start to the week :( ....Why I don't like Monday's

Post by Sandman »

Left the house this am heading to work to start off a normal work week.

I did not get but 5 minutes from my house before my day went for a big s#@t.
There was a young fella turning left at an intersection who obviously was of the opinion that people turning left have the right away over oncoming traffic. :shock: :shock:

Well here is the result;

His car is a right off;

My car they think because of frame damage is also a right off;

Just got back from the hospital....have a couple cracked ribs and some back issues to deal with but thank god that is the extent of injuries to everyone involved!! :wink: It sure could have been alot worse!

R.J. & Red Label - I am still planning on going out with you but will have to get you fellas to do the shootin for me!

Sorry to hear of your bad luck!
At least you're looking at it with a good attitude. Take care of the injuries, so they don't create any future problems, and you might want to contact a good reputable lawyer for advice before making any statements or settlements with the insurance company.
Just from my limited experience the insurance companies will try to get you to settle so you can't open any future claims if the injuries cause future problems. A good attorney can advise you on whether you're signing your rights away. I'm not one of those people who look at an accident as a way to make money, but a call to an attorney saved me from signing a release when my daughter was injured in an accident. He read the release and told me if I signed it she would not be able to collect any damages if the injuries caused future problems. It's all in the wording, and they word it to cover their butts! As it turned out she collected 3 times what they offered, and the excess $$$$ was put into an account until she was an adult, then it was hers to use for her choice of cosmetic surgery, or whatever she wanted! (she had some minor scarring on her face)

Robin,

I am so sorry to hear that! Especially with all the injuries you are in recovery from your previous accident! How much time will you miss from work and more importantly, you will be in your stand this season, right??

I hope you're okay. You can still shoot with us but we'll cock the bow no problems! If there's anything physical you need done around the house just pick up the phone.

Still going to the game?

You know what they say about "Rainy days and Mondays". It seems that if it wasn't for bad luck, you wouldn't have any. :( Hope you get better soon, and it's like Grey Owl says, that you'll be getting the "Big Buck(s)", both figuritively and illiterately.

Thanks alot everyone! I really appreciate the support.

CH, RL, RJ - It will take a little more than that to keep me away from a little practice!!
