I saw that too Mike. The difference between 350 gr and 400 gr seems right. The speed drops off at 2.77fps/gr. Be interesting to see some more chrony results from the new 355 owners.

Re: New to forum and new micro 355 owner
If all goes well I will head to the archery shop to check the speed from my Micro 355 this weekend. I have a 350gr arrow and a 406gr arrow prepped for the speed test.

The speed did look a little low. It was the bow shops chrony not sure if it was accrete. It would be nice to see some other resolute form some other Micro 355 owners. The Excalibur xbows are up to 355 FPS, not saying that is what you will get, or do Excalibur ‘s say 355 fps and mean 355 fps +- say 2 to 4 FPS. Also only took two shots with the 350 grain and two with the 400 grain all showed same speeds.

With Excal 355, generally means 355 or more with a 350 gr arrow. I'd check the arrow weights you used. Jeff will chime in here hopefully soon with more data.

Re: New to forum and new micro 355 owner
Just for grins I put 10 arrows thru the Pro Chrono last night before my knee said go lay down!
They were 352 gr. arrows.
Avg. speed of 10 shots was 353 fps.
I am waiting on new arrows for heavier testing.

We checked the weigh with the 150 grain tip and was 401 grain, then we changed out to a 100 grain tip. So the weigh should be good. Also stock bolts.

That doesn't seem right. 2.77fps per grain? 50 grain weight difference would be 138.5 fps slower.????nchunterkw wrote:I saw that too Mike. The difference between 350 gr and 400 gr seems right. The speed drops off at 2.77fps/gr. Be interesting to see some more chrony results from the new 355 owners.
