If one of my Excaliburs was to exhibit that condition  I'd be calling them real quick ( or go on line here thru this website and contact customer service ) to get an RMA # and send those limbs to be replaced.

I would not shoot it until limbs were replaced to protect yourself, your bow, and those that may be near by should it decide to let go.

As I have noticed your serving starting to seperate in your string loops I would add that as another reason not to shoot until repaired...

Buy a couple new strings from Excalibur. I would request "Flemish twist" strings versus endless loop like you have at present, and have them included with the new  limbs when shipped back.

X 2 That condition is kinda rare for a 330 (if thats what you have). Usually an indication of brace height too low. As advised, contact Excalibur, they will take care of you and get you a couple of flemish strings and also keep your brace height set at least 3/4" minimum from the riser/rail joint.

Actually that appears to be glue separation on a limb tip which is pretty normal. Does not hurt anything. And the string is fine also.

All the newer guys think the sky is falling for some reason. Send it in and they will replace it but I do not think it really needs it.

I think that it is a trend all right. Not of limb problems but of people that need to broadcast their problems on forums for not sure what. Do they think that they will get better service if they complain on this forum? Is it just for attention? I will tell you what the rehab. nurse told me when I complained. Suck it up buttercup. Now I am not singling out this post but in general so don't get upset about that. Excalibur has the best warranty service out there. That is the place to go if anything seems off on your bow. I am not going to fit it and I am sure that any of you will not fit it. They are only a phone call or email them the problem and a pic away. To me it is the society will live in more than any limb issue. IMHO

PS. ALL bows have issues. Excalibur goes out of their way to set up a forum to talk amongst ourselves. Its a little sad that we have to use it for bashing their product when they also give us the best customer warranty around. Thanks for letting me vent.

I dissagree. the crack that runs same direction to the tip does not look normal. I would be sending that in.

Hmmm

Zero limb issues here. I don't pay much attention to my limbs I just shoot daily and don't worry about the less than 1% that have limbs Sent in for warranty... :)

Mike (Aging), I agree with what you're saying but that's not what I'm getting from the poster. I think he's just asking for our opinions as to whether or not he's got an
issue. To answer your question, yes. Contact Excalibur, get an RMA # and send the limbs in for exchange. And as mentioned above, order a couple Flemish Twist strings at the same time.

You may be right Paul. If I had an issue an Email with pics to Excalibur would do it for me. I'd simply go to the source. But everyone is not like me and that to could be a good thing. :D

Sad when some post question and a few go after them saying you are NOT normal but limb crack is NORMAL.. Maybe it is NORMAL for cracks to happen in limbs from glue or slits or bubbles but most including me are new to these things and maybe its WAX causing it..Sproul you are getting smarty pants ..
