With the fantastic rangefinders they make now and keeping shooting to under 40 yards I see no real need to more speed.

It's been the only question come outa the mouth from a buyer in a pro shop that I've heard from a buyer in over 20 years,,, how fast is it,,, as long as that one criteria is met, it's the end of their questions,,,, yep fer sure if making money is what matters,,,,speed is what sell's,,, look at the baranet ghost,,,, plastic risers break'n in half, but hey,,,, the shoot over 400fps and their cheap,,,,,,

So I decided this morning that an extra 45 fps cannot hurt and can only help me at longer distances especially if I misjudge the yardage by a yard or two. I Just got back from Cabela’s where I had a bunch of points to spend and ordered the Bulldog 400. Should have it in my hands in about 10 days.

Can’t wait to give her a try :D

What is the definition of “archery range” and what are the conflicting statements?

Anything over 300fps is overkill and Warp speed baby are conflicting statements. Archery range is subjective to who is speaking. Some say 20, 25, 30 and beyond. Depends on the surroundings. Lets say swamps versus out west open range. Can be argued forever. Most will agree nothing beyond 50 yards at a Whitetail deer.

Since I now know who it is, I have nothing more to say. Hope this doesn't spoil Swamps day.

....I don't believe the question is how much speed does one need....the question for me is how much speed did I spend my money on thinking I was getting what I was told...only to be disappointed....
