286 grains:
Black Eagle Executioners 9.0 GPI
80 grains brass in the snout
2" Blazers 18 total grains
8 grains plastic flat rear nocks
add 100 grain heads, boom!
It’s not the way you rock, it’s the way that you roll!

Stock carbon firebolts with 2" blazer vanes and a onestringer arrow wrap and a 125 gr head is 393gr.
Their not your fancy BEE's or Zombies but i can shoot a two inch group off a rest at 40yds all day long. 8)
That's plenty good for anything i hunt. :)

You could go to a 85 grain thunder head if you really want to shinny up. Using excaliburs above formula above .As georgia boy put it shaving 20 grains or even 30 on paper fps is not gonna make or break anything. Im trying to keep arrows light on my new vixen 2 n on paper saving 20 grains is very unnoticable dont forget the lighter bow would really benefit with more k -e than speed on a deer anyway.in the end your talking about 10 fps gain not worth racking your brain ...been there im shooting fire bolts n 150 grain slick tricks outta my new vixen 2 . Not exactly a rocket ship set up but its gonna get me a boss gobbler in a couple weeks shootin 2 inch groups at 30 yards .

Go to G and k Archery in Wallaceburg or Archers Nook in London . Both those places can help you out and get you started.

Good question and here is my reason for shooting 19 inchs. I had an Exomax and shot 20 inch arrows out of it. They weighed 400 grains built just as the 19 inch are.
So when I sold the Exomax and purchased the 380 Matrix I used the 20 inch I had with great results except for one thing. While hunting the broadhead would protrude beyond the foot stirrup about half an inch so I couldn't rest the xbow facing down with the stirrup resting on the treestand as the broadhead would hit the stand platform first, not good. So I cut my arrows down to 19 inchs and still keep the total weight close to my prefered 400 gr...now (388). Now the broadhead sits well within the stirrup which I also prefer so when uncocking the bow in the dark my boot will kick the arrow out if by chance I forget to remove it before uncocking. This position will prevent me from uncocking the arrow through my boot/foot if I am not paying attention for some reason.
