Matrix 350LE

Post by Arrowflinger »

Hey guys, new to forum and relatively new to crossbows. I currently am shooting a Barnett raptor which I have had for a little over a year now. It was given to me by my wife as a gift .Really enjoy shooting it .Been lurking on this forum for a while now and feel like this is a very informativeplace to gather info for a newbie like me.I've been really drooling over the matrixs for a while now .Went to Cabelas a couple of weeks ago and shot the matrix 330 and 355.Wow. I've been bitten.Really interested in getting reviews and comments from guys who have the 350LE. The price looks good and compare it to the 355;speedwise ;cocking effort etc. Thanks in advance for all of yalls help

I love my 350 LE. I was one of if not the first here to get one. I do not have a chrono but think mine is shooting close to 355/360 with a 382 grain arrow. Go to Al Flaherty's site and get you one while the exchange rate is still good.

As far as cocking I can't really tell much difference between it and my Matrix 330.

I realize speed is not a big issue but I have heard the 350LE is getting better than posted speeds and your post indicates that may be true..However I would be curious to what kind of actual speed the 350LE gets off a chrono with a given arrow weight if anyone has actually chrono tested one. Looking at one of these for my son and my two grandsons...not one for each of them, one they could all use...lol

I bought a 350LE a month ago from Al Flahertys. Took 5 days to arrive. I love it. The MOTS camo is full rail and the balance is great.

It is a great buy at 699, but even better at the USD CAD exchange rates. (537.20 as of today)

If you want a matrix, it is the best buy.

Going from memory but think Gus said 362 with the 350 grain arrows and was it Kysdad that said 348 with 400+ arrows.

Kinda curious why some think that the 350LE may be shooting a little faster than the 355 ?

Here is a cut N paste from Carl IV over on AT/CT site when he used a chrono on his new 350 LE.

Ran the 350 over the chrono today. It's an old chrono at the club. I ain't going outside today to use mine in the yard and I don't have a light kit for it.

Anyways, stock string was used.

350 gr. arrow two shots 358-358
400 gr. arrow two shots 340-341

SwampDonkey reported 360+ out of his with the stock string in the same thread.

The 350LE is a beautiful crossbow with the MOTS camo, and with the exchange rate from Canada to the US you can't beat that price.

Good luck with your decision

I thought it was a smidge shorter than the 355? I could be wrong, wish I had a 355 rail around to compare. Either way she is a beauty of a crossbow for sure.
