Well it was my first spring bear hunt, didn't last long , a bear came out to my Tim Horton doughnuts at 5 min to 9 pm just as I was packing up to leave .
I noticed the 3 raccoons at my bait all stood up looked east then ran off, thought something might be coming so I waited 5 more min and he walked right in and gave me a broadside shot.
No trophy but I was not trophy hunting about 200 lbs and on the lean side .
Matrix 380 with Boltcutter did the trick , He only went 30 yards.
Not much of a story but that's the way it went, LOL
