Sad to watch on tv fires in Canada..Prayers hoping they get it out and family are safe...

My cousin John and his family live in Alberta. His oldest son lives right in Fort mac .he is a chopper piolet and flew his wife and kids out the other day had his mom and dad pick them up and he flew back it to fight the fire.he Flys with the military and has been fighting fires for a few years.very dangerous with tbe the high winds for them to fly in and dump water so thy are doing a lot of search and rescue when it us to windy to dump water. My youngest brother is up there fighting the fire. I would be up there also if I wasn't so old and broken down. God bless you guys and stay safe.

Just heard today that they expect the fire to go for months and spread to other provinces. Sad to see, let's hope some heavy rains come that way.

Last report I heard today was that the fire has grown to the size of Las Angeles, and will continue to grow as the wind picks up. There is cooler weather in the forecast with some light rain, but there isn't much hope that will change what his happening.
We need a 12-step group for compulsive talkers. They could call it On Anon Anon.
