Set the brace height at 3/8" from the reds, see if this sets things up better for you.

After shooting many bolts through the chrony, the consistent speeds for us shooting 350 grains are:
Bulldog 400 - 396-397 fps
Matrix 405 - 406-407 fps
I haven't experimented with changing brace height to see if I can squeak anymore speed. Waiting on warm weather for that...
