Is anybody using the spitfire edge? Are you using bands?

I was just gonna make a post to this effect about using the standard 125gr sptifire.

I'd love to hear experiences, and if folks are banding. I'd be shooting them from a Micro 335.

I have some 125gr spits laying around waiting to kill a tick toter.

I have shot spitfire MAX from my Equinox and I DID use dental elastics to make sure I didn't encounter a premature deployment of the blades.. The spitfire MAX did a good job, everything I hit with them died!!

I have been shooting NAP broadheads for along time. What I'm shooting now is the Spitfire Max 125 grain and I have never put anything on them. I have taken a lot of deer over the years. They have come out with a xbow one. The only difference is the tension clip is a little heavier. I have not had one open yet on me. I can say one thing is that they are very deadly. The xbows that I shoot are the Vortex and I now shoot the Micro 335. One other thing is that I use the replacement blades and still have not had one open.Hey good luck with your decision.

I have shot regular 100gr spits with my vortex for over 10 years and do not use any bands and have never had any issues. I have shot spit maxx 100gr for the last 3 years out of my 355 with out any bands and no issues with those either

A question for those of you that use the practice heads. How far into the Rine Hart target do these heads penetrate? Do they damage the target at all? Thanks,
Hank
