The trigger return spring attaches to piece A, the lower sear.
Maybe it's an illusion created by your photo, but it appears to me that your trigger unit has very little sear engagement.

I agree. Could that be caused by a weak spring?

I might be wrong, but it looks like there is a set screw installed in the forward end of the lower sear used to limit sear engagement.
What I see is that the safety is preventing the sears from disengagement.
I hope that it's an optical illusion and not something done to reduce the trigger pull.

The heavy spring goes in " A " . Between the trigger in the round blind hole .
