EXCAL 355 stock string or shift to custom?

I finally shot my Matrix 355, LOVE IT. But I need to do a brace height adjustment. And I got to thinking, it currently has the stock string that's what was used for zero in shooting and plinking(probably 30 shots). I also have a custom matrix string I ordered with the xbow package from Wyvern Creations. Do you think I should go ahead and change to the custom string, break it in and use the stock string for back up or just shoot and hunt with the stock until I need to change strings? Got time to play until bow season here.

Keep an eye on your serving with the JBK string...I ordered one with my 350LE from Wyverns and the serving came apart with less than forty shots.
I checked all the regular stuff...nocks, latches etc and all was good. I,m not bashing their strings, used them in the past with great results. I don't know what happened with this one.
I,m using a string now from one of our fine string maker's on the forum.
I have over a hundred shots on it right now and it looks brand new!

Yeah ,thought it might be the JBK. I recently bought one from them also as I was intrigued with he promise of no creep etc having to constantly add twists for brace height . I must say I was a little disappointed in it for a few reasons.1. I had to twis t the crap out of it to meet first brace height.2.Its still stretching; I'm stil. Having to add a twis t her and there although not as much as the factory 1992 string 3. The center serving seems thinner than the factory string serving. Do have 140 shots on it now but it seems the center serving will need to be reserved soon.But other than that it's a great string

Well Hmmmm....not encouraging but I got time to test and play with it, I too like the idea of low stretch factors for the string listed on the website. Think I will still put it on and keep a shot count and BH adjustment count for a few months and go from there. Think I will still order a Flemish string from one of the craftsman here, just to have. Want to get my rig settled out before bow season in TN.
