Here ya go.... A short video to help you out, and you can substitute a round rubber arrow puller as well for the tool used in the video.....

you don't need any special tool...
hold the end of the lumenok between tour thumb and index finger...jiggle the arrow up and down by briskly rotating your fingers up and down. your fingers should stay in the same plane but the point of the arrow goes up and down many inches using your pinched fingers as a fulcrum instead of the tool in that first video, its simple and safe and requires no tools or twisting of the nock.

buy a piece of rubber gasline about 6 in long the same size of the lumenok put it on the nock and wiggle it back and forth works like a charm..

The best way I've seen so far is using Burt Coyote's Extinguisher.

I hold the bolt pointing down, and then with my right hand palm it around the fletching. Pinch the Luminock perpendicular to the wires and just wiggle it, Until it just turns off. If surprisingly easy to do if you hold it right.

The trick is to do it with the wires pointing in the right direction. It kind of make them the pivot points if you will

I must say Danny Millar arrow puller beats them all. I have two just in case! Love them!
Its perfect for arrow removal from the target and turning off the lumenok.

Just make sure that when you put them away you have pulled them enough that they do not come back on, sounds impossible but its happened to me. I had contacted the company and they told me it can happen if you stop pulling it the second it goes out.
