The stock string on the BD400 is the fastest of all strings tested by a significant margin. It's made with ??. DM told me, but I've forgotten - Xcel I think.
I put these non stretching strings also on my M380 & M405, but the brace height on each is over 1/2" higher than I desire. The strings are just a bit short for these 2 bows. Surely, eventually, they'll stretch at least a little: certainly haven't yet.
Is this string and resultant brace height too stressful for these Matrix bows?

Half inch higher than you desire, but does that still fall within the "normal" for the matrix?

It pretty short. It's 5/8" off the DrS bumper which is longer than the stock bumper.

Also while talking strings does the Flemish 1989 fit matrix bows?

Never mind ,found answer bout Flemish string in accessory section.no it doesn't fit matrix or micros
