Turkey Down with Matrix 310

After a long month of below freezing mornings and 90 degree afternoons I finally got it done next to the last day of our spring season.

I have been having 3 AM wake up alarm get in my blind by 5 leave at 7 to head home and get ready for work. Today was my lucky day, I had 8 come within 20 yards this morning at 5:27 AM, I connected with a 15 pound 5 inch bearded Jake. The arrow was a complete pass through. He flew 200 yards and walked another 100 yards from where I shot him. He sure was a tough one!

Thanks Big John for my custom arrows.

Its frusterating archery hunting for turkey knowing you could easily blast one with the 12 guage but after getting one with the bow theres no going back. Congrats i know what its like to be a turkey hunting zombie did it for 30 days one year .....loved every morning its the 3pm tired wall that sucks lol. Great season thanks for sharing lbj
