This morning the hockey world lost the greatest player ever.. Rest in peace Gordie. I was lucky to meet him many many times. Still the largest hand I ever shook..

I met Gordie Howe as a ten year-old in the lobby of a hotel. He signed autographs and hung out with me and my hockey buddies for a good while. It left a huge impression on me. The world lost a great hockey player but an even better man.
