Will Excal make the Apex in matrix size?

I was just wondering if Excalibur had any intention of bringing their target crossbows into the smaller Matrix size. Might be kinda cool to have a Matrix to play around with at just a 100# draw.

That was a prototype we borrowed from Excal. I'll post pics of it when I get home.

Not sure if it will ever go into production but they refer to it as the "Micro Mini". Very short power stroke and wimpy limbs but a joy to shoot. No need for a rope cocker and even a kid could cock it. It would be an awesome 20 yard target bow.

I think if you put micro limbs on it you might get around a 150-175 draw with a super super short power stroke. Heck I might not need a rope cocker there either. It looks really nice. You need to poke 'em into making it. I want one now!

Edit: so you won't mind if I email excalibur directly and ask about this right? I just want to make sure I'm not stepping on any toes.

That mini micro is the perfect bow for introducing a child to a crossbow. I need one for my boy.

Well I emailed excalibur and asked if anything like this was down the pipeline. I got a response from Dawn:

Sorry, I have not have heard of any plans of this nature. If we do come out with something like that it would be in the new year.

I'm hoping they do make something. I'd totally buy it
