Wisconsin's archery starts 9-17 and I'll be out waiting in a stand where I saw them last year opening morning. My 355 is dead on with my Trauma 3 1/8" BH. Can't wait!

Season starts Sept.17th here, but since it's been such a hot summer, which is supposed to continue into the fall, I'm not looking forward to a warm hunting season.
It just does not feel like huntin season to me when it's do warm out, not to mention having to worry about having to hang my deer over night in the heat.

Unfortunately my lease has no urban zone, so it's October 1st. That day, my good buddies daughter is getting married, soo, I'm not in the woods until 10-2. But hey, I can wait. 10-2 has been a magical day for Kyle, and me over the last few years, and expect this year to be no different. Good luck folks, and be safe above all else!

We open the 17th have a ton of dink bucks on cameras, only one buck in the 130 class showing up so far. The biggest concern is hardly any fawns lots of coyotes around. No acorns this year after the huge mast last 2 yrs. So they are hitting the corn an beans real hard.
Good luck zapping em.

This post reminds me that I need to print my tags. Our Missouri bow season starts Sept. 15. As a landowner here I am ridiculously spoiled. At no charge I get two archery antlerless tags, two archery any deer tags (only one buck before the firearms season), two firearms antlerless tags and one any deer tag plus two archery turkey tags and two fall firearms turkey tags. I need to add some paper to my printer.

Here I can only take a buck, though I usually enter and win a doe lottery so I can harvest a doe first, then a buck, but this year since the deer population is so low I've decided to not take a doe, and cross my fingers a big buck walks my way.

Thanks!
After reading Big Johns post, I looked at when bear season is here, and in my zone a bear can only be taken by a bow , and it's the same exact days as deer hunting, so if I see bears on my cams again this year, there might be bear sausage on my dinner table this year!!
