I tried a pack about 4 year ago when Hank Parker was singing their praises. Killed 2 doe. One was a complete pass thru with good blood. The next doe Was quartering away and it hung up in the off shoulder.
She only ran 60 yards buy I found very little blood. They are a proven killer but just not for me.

thats a 2" heads entrance...... Ill call that big in my book.
That's impressive. Both deer I shot you could barely stick your thumb in the entrance hole. I am not knocking them both deer expired quickly, just had better results with Gators.

I've tried a few in my life... I'm shooting the 100g - 2" and like em. My last buck spun as I pulled the trigger and ended up hitting him behind the shoulder but at an extreme quartering to shot. After the shot all we found was a pile of gut poop on the ground. I was a nervous wreck and played that shot over in my mind and told my buddy I was sure the Luminok disappeared behind the shoulder and no way should there be gut crap on the ground. Anyway, it was a little high but still behind the shoulder... it took out a small top of one lung, liver and exited out the side of his belly near his hip (long 6" gash because of the angle) . He was found less than 50 yards away. Not sure that would have happened with a fixed blade. I'm pretty well sold on them.

I'm green to crossbow hunting as I only started last year. Shot one doe at 20yds broad side with complete pass through and buried about half the head in a maple tree. Head stayed in tact and did well. The blood trail looked like Freddie Kruger had been in the woods. I shoot the 125gr with 2 1/4" cut.
