Several weeks ago my Mom asked me about going hunting. I told her there is always room in the blind. She said "No, I want to hunt" having a moment of Aw I told her we can do that too. This conversation took place on a Saturday. So not really thinking much of it, on Monday or Tuesday the next week she calls me asking about crossbows. over the next hour I explained the basics of wheel and recurve bows and advised her to handle a few. Now her greatest concern is recovery from breaking her wrist this past winter, that previous summer she had carpal tunnel surgery. "NO worries, I don't see you hunting on your own right now".
