Watch your step!

Post by DuckHunt »

As I head out to do the annual trail clean up/mowing, limb trim, stand checkout and to hang the safety ropes, I can't help but think we all could use a safety reminder this time of year.

I stumbled upon this one a couple weeks ago when I last checked my trail cameras. I walked through plenty of knee high grass before seeing him in the driveway on the way out. It makes me wonder how may I may have stepped over already.

Oh ya fun stuff. We get Eastern Massassauga's at the cottage . When they rattle it really gives you a good startle. Neighbour was bit last fall. 5 days in the hospital. Still gets some residual nerve issues today. They don't kill ya up here but they sure wreck your life for a bit
