feeder cam(s) buck

Post by wabi »

Got two feeders out and getting a few buck pictures.
This little guy likes both feeders!
My prediction is that the white oaks will start dropping acorns just before the season opens and he'll go nocturnal at the feeders.

Wabi, a few years ago, I had a really nice buck coming to the feeder every morning and every evening all through August and September. Until two days before season started. Never saw him again, that year or since. Hope yours sticks around. :D

Whew, that is a really nice one. This is the best looking one from my last pull of pictures. I do have a couple pics of one that appears wider, but no clear view of both sides of his rack.

Unfortunately, we have four weeks of doe only gun hunting coming up before I can get after him with archery gear. Once the guns start popping I'll start seeing less of everything until the rut which falls during muzzleloader season. The early gun hunt effectively shortens my archery buck season and makes for some long unproductive sits.
