I was perfectly honest with my wife Boo. Maybe that is why we got divorced 16 years ago.

That's what I would do. If shes going to be mad she might as well have a good reason. :D but keep in mind that I'm on my 3rd wife. The second one left me shortly after she walked by my garage and saw the boat I bought 3 days earlier

Interesting read this thread.
At least she didn't say"ok"
When they say "ok" it most definateley isn't.
"ok" usually means you screwed up big time and,...my revenge will be mighty and unexpected and delivered without mercy.......
Just saying

A couple of months ago, I took Colton to Academy Sports. We got him some pellets and a fishing lure or two. Dad got a new S&W 9mm. When we got home wife asks, "Well what did you get?" ( I should have smelled a rat as she has never asked that in 26 yrs. before) So to be totally honest :? I said" We got Colton some pellets". Her reply was "Pellets, huh?"......I later found out that Colton already had posted on facebook that Dad got a new 9mm.........busted!!
But then she had to leave on a trip. Short term memory is not her long suite. :D :D :D :D :D

".......................Well it's getting delivered today so I decided to tell her about it last night at the dinner table in front of the kids (for safety reasons). That went over like a fart in church......................"

Serves you darned well right.

You weren't thinking ahead and you missed your chance.

When you bought your crossbow you should have given it to her right then and called it your anniversary present. She would have loaned it to you any time you wanted to borrow it. You know that.

Then, when you bought your Bog-pod, you could have given it to her as an accessory for HER bow, and called it her birthday present. All the better if it isn't her birthday for quite awhile. That would just prove how you were always thinking of her and stuff that fits in so well with what she's already got.

Serves you darned well right.

Lol, not me, when I was married and we had our first child, my ex said " no hunting gun in the house !! " some guys would hate that, but I took it as an opportunity to buy a bigger safe, put it in my parents house, and have full advantage of being able to fill it up without her knowing Lol

When we divorced, she said " these sewing machines ARE MINE!, you have your gun(singular) I just sat there and smiled lol
