Gen1 Gen2 335 Riser
What's the difference between the g1 and g2 335 risers? Is one better than the other? I'm sure my Nightmare 335 is a Gen1. I bought it when they first came out.
Re: Gen1 Gen2 335 Riser
GenI has a more forward swept riser. It is also a little heavier by a couple ounces.
GENII is swept back more, which relieves stress and makes it easier to cock. To keep the speed, they made the rail 1/2 longer.
It's debatable which is better as they are both great bows. GenI is typically faster than advertised. But heavier to cock. Gen II is easier to cock, but most run as advertised or slightly slower.
Regardless withoit a chronograph, you'd likely not know the difference. All deer end up equally dead when hit with either bow.
