Cub ready to go.

Post by Predator55 »

Was out today shooting my grizzly cub and it's set. I'm using the stock three dot that it came with and its sighted in top dot 0 to 30, second dot is 40yards and the third dot is 50 yards. I used the stock carbon 18 inch bolts 350 gr it came with and my aluminiums 2219's the weigh 100 gr more at 455 hit about a half inch or so low. Both will do the trick, but I think I'll go with the heavier bolt. Looking forward to filling the freezer. Amazing how accurate this bow is.

Congrats on the bow you will love it,
I tend to favor heavy bolts over light ones for penetration, less bow noise, and easier on the bow limbs.

I love my Cub it is a great bow for the $ and I killed a couple deer last year without issue. Even shot through the shoulder of one doe on the entrance side of the shot and still put the arrow in the dirt on the far side of her.. You can't hardly ask for more than that.
