So I re-fletched some of the Diablo bolts that I have managed to damage by either hitting them with another bolt in the target or blowing through the target. I bought the Arizona EZ Fletch and some Blazer 2" Vanes. I used the Blue Gorilla glue after I cleaned the bolt. It wasn't that hard and I can see myself getting hooked on messing around with arrow building. I have a box of old 2219 Aluminum Arrows from my vertical bow days.
Anyway...I shot them today out of my M380. Wow, what a difference in flight path. They seemed to have a much flatter projection. I shot a new diablo and the 3 I re-fletched. I actually had to adjust my scope because I was shooting 2-3" high. I am tempted to re-fletch all of the diablos!!
Has anyone else noticed this?

I did the same with my firebolts...ended up re fletching all of them.

Does anyone use these on aluminum bolts? How long does a 2219 need to be to have the same weight as a carbon?
