Micro 355 a bit disappointing

Finally got around to putting my new Micro 355 through the chrono. I'm shooting an 18" 475 gr. B.E.E. Pretty heavy, so no surprise that it was kinda slow, but the disappointment really set in after comparing to my Micro 335. Only five (5) FPS average difference in velocity shooting the same arrow from each.
Anyone else had similar results? What kind of velocities are you getting and with what bolt weights?

There was only 4 fps diff in my 1 Gen 335 n the 355

The new limb mounting geometry reduces speed significantly. Example: M405 has a 13.9" power stroke while the 20-25'/sec slower BD400 has a 0.1" longer power stroke. Same limbs, longer stroke, yet 5-7% slower just due to the new limb mounting geometry. However, on all changed existing models, the name remains the same. Only the new model, the BD400 has a reduced rating: but not a realistically reduced rating. With the same set of limbs, same string, same arrow, the BD is still ~ 20'/sec slower than the M405.
So, changing the geometry , yet keeping the same power stroke (do the 2 generations have the same power stroke? I think so) will significantly reduce speed.
This geometrical change seems to be iniated during the limb failure time period which has been attributed to limb overheating by an outside supplier. Now that the limb issue appears to be history, is this limb mounting change overkill resulting in un-needed velocity loss?
Whatever, in 2 weeks, when I'm going on a 3-day bear hunt where I walk way in and spend from pre-dawn till dark dark. The BD400 will be with me. However, on the 100 acres behind my house, my M405 will likely see the majority of usage.

The first generation 335 bows were overachiever's and frequently posted speeds close to 339 - 342 FPS. If it provides great accuracy, and feels great in the hands, you'll do great with her.

I am sure with Excalibur if you have a problem they will work with you fix it .

some are getting 360fps with gen1 micro with 350 gr arrow....
