...You cannot go wrong with Leupold IMHO. I have the Crossbones on all three of my Excalibur's as do my boys on both of their 380's.

+1 on Leupold, although I'd like to see them use a 1.5. X 5 vx 2 as the platform for their crossbow scope, shorter, lighter and more compact.

My two favorites are the Leupold crossbones and Nikon Crossbow scope . The Leupold would be a little long on the Micro in my opinion but the Bolt would be perfect !

The best scopes for crossbows were not designed for crossbows...:)

Leupold VXR line of scopes are the ultimate crossbow scope. My second choice would be the crossbones...

I love my Vortex Viper XB-R 1MOA crossbow scopes but they're pricey and hard to find now that they've stopped producing them. Second, for me, is the Luepold VX-R with the ballistic firedot reticle with the HHA Optimizer = AWESOME! I've only briefly looked through one but the Hawke SR Pro I believe it's called (their top end crossbow scope) looked excellent and will easily have you setup to 100yards with little effort. These are my choices but I guess it depends on how much you're willing and able to spend and what your needs are. The excal scopes will still do what they're meant to and put deer in the crosshairs.

Just bought a Hawke XB 30 Pro from Wyverns to put on my Kodabow Zulu scout.
The jury is still out but it seems like a quality scope, read many good reviews. Have to dial it in this weekend. Hopefully the glass will be on par with my Leupold. My 355 Matrix has a Leupold 2 x 7 shotgun scope on it with a heavy duplex crosshair. The Leupold really stands out in the early mornings and late evenings. I have the crosshair zeroed at 25 yards and I use the tip of the post of the heavy reticle on the bottom for 35 and the tip of the post on the top for when one is 15 yards or closer.

You did not say if you need illuminated or not. If you do you can't beat for the price the Hawke XB1-SR from Wyvern Creations. I think he is getting $150 or so for it.
If not I also like the Leupold Crossbones or Zeiss XB75 or I am currently shooting a Vortex XB-R.

The Leupold VX-R 2-7 will top my Excalibur's again on season four using this fine optic.

Like that VXR on your Micro belleriver, that little Micro must be deadly. What type of reticle do you have in it?

It's the single cross hair Duplex reticle. One aim point...

I've used several kinds of optics on my crossbows from red dots to traditional scopes. I've used a Leupold VXIII 1.5-5 illuminated, Eotech 512, Leupold Prismatic sight, and a Docter Optic sight, and I currently have a Zeiss XB75 and Vortex XBR to try.
