Permanent loctite

Can anyone please help me with this dilemma,I put permanent loctite on the 2 bolts that hold bow to frame I want to use dr stirrup but if I can't bolt out I won't be able to any HELP would greatly be appreciated :x

Permanent as in RED?

You'll need to get heat to the loctite. Stick in an allen key into the fastener and heat until red. Remove the key soon after it's no longer red and us your T handle.

You don't need to heat until the part is red in color. Permanent Loctite breaks loose at approx. 425 degrees Fahrenheit.

Careful, don't melt/distort your stock, I know one guy who did trying to heat up the accidently used permanent Loc tite at the stock to mainframe screw.

Michael, we're talking about the mainframe to riser bolts right?

I remember having to use generous acetylene to melt the permanent Loc tite used on an engine pulley. :shock:

Sounds like the riser to mainframe screws and not the stock to mainframe.
