Excal's should come with a warning

Post by ageless mind »

There should be a surgeon general warning on all Excalibur crossbows stating "handling or shooting of an Excalibur crossbow could be hazardous to your wallet and or marriage, use extreme caution"
For me it all started with an exocet 165, then an aluminum axiom now a matrix 380 (used)
Speaking of the 380, the tact zone scope, wow is this scope hard to keep eye centered without getting the blur. I have read many of the posts about this, what has been the best route for addressing this issue?

Thanks

Too funny. They are addictive. I have owned a few myself. My theory is you have to keep trying all the Excalibur models until you find the perfect one...lol

Can't help you with the tact zone. I am a Leupold user and don't have that issue... :)

Nog the ne XB-30 Pro is as big a difference in brightness and optical quality over the XB1, the XB1 is an upgrade over the Excalibur scope. I have an XB1 also, but I run it on my Lynx,,, when I use it I have snow cover to help it out,,,, I stripped the camo tape and put the XB-30 it had on it on the custom 350WC

No doubt.

I got my first Xbow, a BD400 earlier this year.

Decked it out with all sorts of stuff, haven't even shot a critter with it yet and already picked up a "back up" bow, a 380 Matrix Blackout.

I think I may actually like the 380 better and now I've got my eye open for a 405.

Help me!!!!
