Just love when you guys post a cool pic. I was really happy for the vixer today with his buck. Deer, hog,coyote ,carp ,possom I love this time of year.Its been to hot to hunt here im hangin low chompin at the bit but I cant stand hunting in this soup until the weather breaks im saving my mojo .keep the pictures comin. Thought this was a pretty cool trail cam pic. I was practicing about 600 yards away. The buck was running in my general direction. Also from opening day. Taken around 12:30 in the afternoon. I collected the SD card from the trail cam about an hour later.

And that buck above isn't even the closest call I've had or the biggest one that went past that cam. Last November I skipped out on a morning hunt to save my voice (horrible sore throat) for a friggin' conference call. This guy walks by my stand at 15 yards and I'm not in it. Ugh.

This is a pic of the above buck walking past the cam a few hours earlier in the early am hours. He was following a doe. Two other bucks, much smaller, followed along, also. It's hard to judge how big he actually is unless you piece together multiple photos. But he was big with a thick base. Had 13 scorable points.

This big guy came by my stand the night after the pic was taken. Couldn't get a clean shot. He ended up coming straight down a creek bed. Was facing me head on at 25 yds. Step either way and I had a shot. He jumped up, turned around and went back to where he came!!

That one is from Northern Michigan last year.....in an area where they started APR 4 years ago. Has to be 3 or better on one side. Here is one from this year!! I am pretty excited to get up in the woods!!

Anthony you might not want to live in new jersey but you sure don't want to move to the badger state... as you will still be controlled by the socialist from Madison. I've been here since 95 the deer hunting is very good on private land and deplorable on public . I'm moving back to northern Pa. when retirement comes if it ever does

Here's my favorite pic of a coyote that I have. What a coat this guy was wearing. I was going to get him mounted if I caught up to him.
