Thank You Jerry at South Shore Archery

Post by amythntr »

....picked up a half dozen ZS with Lumenoks from Jerry at SS Archery...wanted to see what all of the fuss was about...well they are gorgeous and very professionally crafted...hardly a trace of glue...

..... had them spined so mine came with a silver dot in between the two hen "pank" blazers...

.....these will be for "Fulmine Grande" so I had 50g aluminium inserts put in at 18"...

.....although I didn't request them be grain matched; from the lightest to the heaviest there was only a 1.5g difference with 3 of them within .5 grains of each other....

.....although I will continue to craft my own....I now see the standard that I would like to achieve...

.....Big John's arra's were comparable but with him seemingly not doing arras anymore...If I am in need Jerry would be my go to man!

Anthony :)

Well then, you might as well drive the extra 30 minutes and come shoot with me on Sunday.

I reserved the range at work from 1400 to 1600 on Sunday to get sighted in. I could always extend that time.

.....sounds great Chad....now I have to make a decision, hmmmm; mom's birthday (83), apple picking, go to work, return the trailer I borrowed 2 months ago, go shoot with Chad?..... :?

Jerry is a good guy. SSAS is my "Go To" place for ZS shafts. My opinion is the spine indexing (silver dot) makes a difference for me. Anthony, with the
50 gr. al insert, sounds as if you will be installing the NAP FOC broadhead.
Be Safe,

....You hit right on the FOC Stephen! From what everyone's been saying they are "SEC-ond 2 None!"
