Good stuff Colton, and great idea Norm, I have kept one for the last 8-10 yrs now, and I really wish I had started it 30 yrs ago. It's fun to read through it, and I use it to solve arguments the Boyz and I get into when we're talking about who's had the biggest deer, or which year was it we had all that snow etc

Congratulations Colton on your first . :)
I am sure he will be able to describe the whole thing many years from now .
Older gentleman I talked to once said " He could not remember the weights of his children when born . But can remember almost every deer . "

Ingrats to the proud Papa and the young buck! :D I'm all smiles for you both; I can't wait until my son and daughter are old enough to hunt with me.

Reading it later in life will give you both great pleasure.
Congrats.
That's the best advice yet. I've a journal I started a couple years ago to give to my son later in life. It's a great motivator to keep track of what you do. It's amazing the little details that slip away.
