Well we have been trying for two years to get Colton a deer with his Micro. He has gotten a hog and a turkey, but the deer just never was the right situation. Either doe had little fawn with her, or never got at ease, and was "walking on egg shells, or something. I couldn't make it hunting this weekend, so Son-in-law took Colton out to his place with him.
Guess all it took was for dad to get out of the way. Its a little doe, will eat great, and it "Got the Monkey Off His Back" .
He used his Gen.1 Micro, cut down stock, BigJohn custom Zombie Slayers, with NAP 170 gr. Crossbow Spitfires. Pass through shot. I asked him if he found his arrow. He said "No, we looked........It just disappeared!"
He is happy and his dad is beaming!!
