I just couldnt pull the trigger on the piebald
[/URL l was just in stand around five o clock today i was texting anthony and a few hunting friends when here comes this piebald button buck. Although i have a doe permit and he was fair game i just couldnt pull the trigger on the 70 pounder. If it would have been mature i woulda drilled him. I kept thinking a the ribbing i woulda took from the girls if i woulda brought him home lol. There is very little hunting pressure at this spot......maby next year we will neet again. ]

Good choice to let him grow. I hope the other hunters do the same for a few years..
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

uh...NO...
Re: I just couldnt pull the trigger on the piebald
That's a neat looking deer. I'd let him walk too. Wouldn't it be great to have such a unique animal around for three or four years at least?

Re: I just couldnt pull the trigger on the piebald
I let a piebald doe walk a few years back as she was the only one I have ever seen in the County I hunt in. A friend of mine saw her after the season was over in a food plot close to where I saw her. She has not been seen again to my knowledge.
