I'm in Penfield. Plenty of deer in my backyard where it's legal to hunt; however, I drive 3 hours down to Delaware County to hunt, as half my neighbors would love me and half would hate me if I killed a deer in the neighborhood. I would rather they all like me, plus it's not really like hunting when you can hear the kids getting on the school bus and the garbage trucks driving by on some days. Big woods hunting is more enjoyable for me, even though the odds are lower.
