Time for back straps on the grill :)... congrats your fine buck..
A touch of frost has heightened your awareness and your heart steadily beats in anticipation. Your senses are suddenly alert to the movement on the forest floor and you realize that the moment of truth is at hand.

Congratulations on that nice harvest !
I would highly recommend the slick trick crossbow trick broadhead, they are 4 blade look like new after most harvest. I have used them for many kills they are super strong, sharp , accurate with replaceable blades,Shoot a deer just replace blades and use again.

Congrats on the fine deer. Looks like you cut the neck to slice through the wind pipe when field dressing? I do this as well, however, by grabbing the wind pipe (feels like a small radiator hose) and cutting through just above where you grab it you will have a much smaller cut and less likely to get dirt and debri on the exposed meat.
The guy that processes my deer tells me that I should cut from the inside and no need to remove the wind pipe. I keep doing it though, as old habits die hard.

Nyexhunter that is how my dad taught me to do it. And you are right old habits die hard. One of my friends gives me the gears about it every year, he cuts from the inside.

On a second note any one done there own euro mount? I want to try it on this little guy incase I get a big one next year.
