Bulldog 400 first arrow first buck

Post by winkysretreat »

New to the cross bow scene after old age and shoulder surgeries had me thinking how to still bow hunt. Purchased my first crossbow the Bulldog 400 as a birthday gift to myself earlier this year. Been setting up bow and practicing all summer after reading all the advise on here from other members. Went with the zombie killers and been using NAP 125 gr thunderheads for over 20 years so stuck with them on my bolts along with luminoks for the first time. Had some really nice buck showing up on my cameras. Set up and on the second stand hunt one of them showed up at 40 yards broadside. My 400 sent the arrow through both lungs and he dropped 50 yards away.
