Bringing deer accross Mich/Ont border

Just an update: partly due to this thread and the info posted by you I was able to bring 2 deer across the border rather painlessly last weekend. We had everything deboned & on ice and when we met up at the gate to enter back into Canada the border guard simply asked where we went, what we used (archery-matrix) for how long and if we were successful, to which we replied that we were and he congratulated us and said how much he missed he doe tag in Canada as well. He never left his hut and wished us a good day. We went thru without any issues. A good time was had in Alpena Michigan! We lived & ate like kings at our host's property.
