Which Spitfire is the best for your Excalibur?

Post by Clover13 »

I've had trouble with Rage's opening prematurely, so thinking of giving Spitfires a try. What are you guys using and have you had any issues?

have used spitfire bh's for over 12 years now . at first the regular 100 grain from my vortex and most recently the 100 grain maxx from my matrix 355 and have not had any issue with either bh with premature opening and both heads shoot same as field points

I'm a NAP guy. I have been using there broadheads for many years. I love the Spitfire line they have. I shoot the Spitfire Max 125 grain out of my Micro 335 and use to shoot them out of my Vortex. I have taken many Deer and a Bear with them. They are a great broadhead. Dicks Sporting Goods sells them for $39..00 for 4 in a pack which is a good deal. I also buy the replacement blades for them to. Dicks does not sell them you will have to check your local sporting goods or go on line for the replacement ones.
