Micro did its job!

Post by mattones »

Bought the micro off big John in early spring. And as my bad luck would have it I I I Had two limbs break within that time frame. So i had to use my compound for most of the season so far! Got my limbs last Friday and sighted the bow in that Saturday. All was good!!

This evening I got off work early and quickly got to the bush. Right as darkness was rolling in this buck appears to my right. Where he is coming I Wasent sure if I could make the shot because of the amount of brush.. I picked the only shooting lane i had in that direction at 25 yards so I let the arrow fly!

Not knowing if I hit him as I saw him run off but no crashing I thought I missed. I didn't see the glowing arrow so I thought great it's either under the leaves or in it... I wait and get down from stand and see the arrow!! Not much blood on the fletching so of course you start thinking on the glass half empty side. I follow the spec of blood for 10!yards then it really opens up!! I ended up jumping the buck so I backed out after waiting another 30 mins. The deer walked the same path as My way out. Waited 1.5 hrs and came back only to see him half in/half out of the bush about 25 yards from where I exited the bush! Haha
