I think its a sin that they discontinued the ibex.axion and vixen 2 .....why all 3 ? These bows just shout excalibur why not keep one model .lt sure dont look like the sapphire is selling like hotcakes ! And i bet warranty issues were next to nothing with the long limbers ......great decision!

I read all this, but who is George? Where is all of this concrete info coming from?
The release date on the leaked sheet was mid October, that came and went.
Not trying to be the stick in the mud, but if someone post up that there are only 3 bulldog models going forward and the rest are being discontinued, it like to see where it's coming from. Not knocking anyone credibility, just curious. :D

Personally, I was not all that impressed with the Bull Dog design and it's trigger and linkage set-up. Besides I love camo bows and the pictures of the two new models I saw were Blackouts.

Having my "soon to be discontinued models", which consist of my Gen 2 micro 335, Matrix 355 and a Matrix 380 models with their excellent scope up-grades, ( the 4 dozen plus arrows and 3 dozen plus broadheads I have on hand, ) I'll be more than happy to spend the remainder of my Xbow days in the woods with these old friends.

Heck, I'm gonna be a discontinued model down the road soon also.
In the mein time I'll just be happy sit around the campfire and reminisce our old hunts with them. ( My 3 Excal buddies that is )

BTW, 3 weeks ago my wife and I were required by circumstances, to take a 16 year old grandson into live with us for the fore-see-able future.. Being retired on a "Medical" and with the income that involves, my bow buying days are over.

No ones saying any are to be discontinued, from what George said all models will move to the bullpup design stock.

I am not sure all of the models that will be axed, now they are sayin its goin to be the bull pup design n linkage. So whichever models they set-up will be up fer sale n the others will fall out of the lineup. Some of the new BD design are already shipped out to certain Dealers. I am fine wid the Micro's n Matrix models of old :)

The first crossbow I ever bought was my Matrix 310 and I gotta say I am very pleased with it. I couldn't cock the 355, and the 330 was only used for hunting since I couldn't cock it for very long before my back would start to complain.
The 310 is easy enough for me to shoot for a couple hours at a time without my back complaining, is deadly accurate, has more than enough speed/range for the woods I hunt in, and is just a pleasure to shoot. After I sold my 330 I did pick up a riser and blemished limbs so that I can have a 330 for hunting if I want a little more zip.

George is a dealer called "Mainstreet". He has posted on this site a few times I believe. He pretty much stays abreast of the crossbow news and keeps an ear to the ground. I hope he is wrong when he says the Matrix line is probably coming to an end because of the new designs.
My Matrixs are going nowhere. As long as they have replacement limbs I am good.
