Very slow rut for me so far

Vixen 2, metal ibex,Phoenix,sapphire,matrix 330 ,matrix 355 ,vortex and baby grand piano y25 relayer.
Trigger tecs,leupold crossbones and nikon bolts.
Zombie slayers and mostly swat broadheads.

Same in Michigan some chasing going on but not as hot and heavy as last year during the same week.
Hunt eat sleep repeat.

We are seeing no Buck chasing doe during daylight hrs.Maybe like 1 ..Some said moon thing is late this year ..Whatever reason its not happening in wmu2g Clinton county in pa.

The big ones here never chased from what I have observed in person and on my trail cams. They went from hanging out with the boys to tending the girls. I've seen smaller bucks chasing does the last four days, though. But the big ones aren't running does down. They seem to just hook up with them with little effort running them down. I have seen big bucks tending does and running other bucks off three of the last four days, two in person and one on a trail cam at night. The other odd thing is that all of the big bucks I've seen in person and on trail cams are resident deer. I usually have big bucks come in during this time that I've never seen before. That hasn't happened.
