We have 2 Axioms, one had a decent trigger the second is creepy and heavy. I realize I can get a Trigger Tech, but wonder if there is anything I can do to the factory trigger. I haven't even figured out how to get it out to work on it.

Re: Excal Triggers
You can have Excalibur re work it under warranty. You could also send it to Boo you does a fine job on them at a reasonable price or you can open it and void your warranty. Boo is allowed to work on them by Excalibur.

Re: Excal Triggers
Contact BOO on this forum and have him do a trigger job for you. The most amazing results can be seen on the lighter poundage bows like yours. In fact, you won't even recognize it as the same trigger....for real. It'll feel like about a 2.0lbs target trigger with no perceivable creep. Absolutely the way to go. Yes, I'm speaking from experience.

Re: Excal Triggers
I have to agree with Paul. I drove past where Boo lives on the way to my parents house last weekend. I needed some fletching stuff so I stopped at his place to get it. When I was there we talked about the trigger on my Matrix and he let me shoot a bow with a trigger he had done, and what a difference. After Christmas I plan on sending my trigger to him.

Re: Excal Triggers
That sounds good, now how does the trigger group come out? Does somebody have a drawing or a video?

Re: Excal Triggers
It comes out very easily. You'll need to be most careful removing the four small button head cap screws used for the scope mount on the top of your trigger. Next, remove the stock from the rail (two fasteners on the underside of the stock, then the trigger itself. (Two screws on the underside). I suggest contacting Boo first. He's usually pretty helpful and sometimes not a bad guy.WNYBILL wrote:That sounds good, now how does the trigger group come out? Does somebody have a drawiused a video?

x2. my favorite trigger was in my 355 that Don massaged. It was 1 lb 14 oz and was just plain fantastic.paulaboutform wrote:Contact BOO on this forum and have him do a trigger job for you. Re: Excal Triggers
Or you can save the money you are going to give to Boo and put it towards a Trigger Tech and send the factory trigger in for a warranty massage.
