Big Missouri 9 pt. with rifle
Since I already have two deer in the freezer thanks to my Excal, I wasn't too anxious to shoot a deer with my rifle but, rifle season only comes once a year. When I stepped out, my intention was to only shoot a big buck. Legal shooting hour started at 6:17 and at 6:40 a big buck stepped out into the harvested soybean field. He was about 100 yards away and was an easy shot with my 25-06. He had a decent 9 point rack but his outstanding feature was his size.
I have a couple of pictures of him but every time I try to upload one of them all I get is code. I think it is this computer and I will try it next time on my laptop which is much newer and up to date. If someone could help me this time I would appreciate it. In the picture, I am standing right next to the deer and his feet are touching the ground (he's suspended from a tractor front end loader). I'm 6'2" and 190 lbs. to give you some perspective on his size. There was a biologist at the place I took him for processing and he said he was 3 1/2 years old. He has been eating good!

Pics you need to have a Host like Photobucket or image Shack
Re: Big Missouri 9 pt. with rifle
I already downloaded the pic to photobucket but it only appears as code on this site. I will try it again tonight on my other computer. My problem is this site knows my password and I don't so when I try to log in on my laptop it doesn't recognize it and I can't post. I'll change my password and try again tonight

Go into photobucket and on top right side of page is an asterisk *grouse wrote:I already downloaded the pic to photobucket but it only appears as code on this site. click on it. Now scroll down to Link Back Option and if it is checked uncheck it and then hit save. Now go to the picture you want to post and click on share then use the IMG code which is the last down. Copy that and paste it on here.

I just went to my photobucket page and studied it carefully and could find no asterisk. I clicked on the photo I want to share and no asterisk appeared there. When I attempted to copy and post the photo with IMG it gave me the same code as earlier. I'll try again later on my other computer. I need to figure this out.

Re: Big Missouri 9 pt. with rifle
Thanks again bellerivercrossbowhunter for helping out with the pictures.
That's a beautiful deer. I had to do a double take as it looked as if the deer was floating by itself next to a red flag as if in a magic show, but then I made out the tractor shovel.

Re: Big Missouri 9 pt. with rifle
My sincere thanks to Bellerivercrossbowhunter for posting my deer's picture. I will not give up on figuring how to post photos myself.
